A high school in Hamden, CT is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 academic year contract, beginning August 25, 2025, through June 11, 2026. This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with consideration for part-time candidates who meet the qualifications. The position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student success through comprehensive psychological services.

Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations and reevaluations, preparing detailed reports, providing counseling support, and collaborating closely with the PPT (Planning and Placement Team) to develop and implement individualized plans. The School Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting students academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License
  • Experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Ability to provide counseling and direct support to students
  • Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Location: Hamden, Connecticut (High School setting)
Duration: Contract for the 2025-2026 academic year (August 25, 2025 June 11, 2026)
