Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-time School Social Worker position is available for the contract period from October through January. This role supports elementary students in grades K-5 at a Hartford, CT location.

Key responsibilities include providing individual and group social work services, supporting student attendance and behavior interventions, collaborating with staff and families, and connecting students to community resources. The social worker will address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges impacting student success.

Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
