A full-time or part-time School Psychologist position is available to support an elementary school serving early childhood students in Philadelphia, PA. This contract role starts as soon as possible and continues through June 18, with potential for summer work. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to a caseload of approximately 20 students within an early childhood program
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Implement intervention strategies and monitor student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all applicable school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- PA School Psychologist license is required
- Experience working with early childhood populations strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and communicate well with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with assessment tools and behavioral interventions
