About the Role

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to join a school district in Arlington, VA, for the 20252026 school year. This full-time contract position involves supporting K-12 students through assessments, counseling, and collaborating with educators and families to improve student success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and eligibility evaluations.

  • Develop intervention plans and behavior supports.

  • Provide individual and group counseling services.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Valid Virginia School Psychologist License.

  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Familiarity with special education laws and practices.
