Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This position offers an engaging opportunity to work as an Adjustment Counselor supporting K-12 students across multiple school locations near Greenfield, MA. As an itinerant counselor, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students throughout the 2025-2026 school year under a contract arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement intervention strategies.
  • Support students in developing skills for academic success and positive interpersonal relationships.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and assessment of student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a school counselor or in a related support role.
  • Knowledge of counseling techniques, adolescent development, and behavioral interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and school personnel.
  • Ability to travel between schools within the designated area.
  • Valid licensure or certification as required for counseling services.

Position Details:

  • Part-time in the current school year, with a full-time contract available for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Itinerant schedule serving multiple K-12 school locations.
  • Located near Greenfield, MA, with some travel required.
