**Overview:**
Helping Hands Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or (CPRP) to join our PRP mental health program on either a part-time or full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients facing a variety of mental health challenges. This role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to ethical practice, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals and families within the community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Clinical Assessment and Evaluation:**
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, incorporating evidence-based practices.
2. **Therapeutic Interventions:**
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
- Implement trauma-informed care principles and culturally competent approaches in all client interactions.
3. **Case Management:**
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, community resources, and support services to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
4. **Crisis Intervention:**
- Assess and manage crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention to clients in distress.
- Develop safety plans and collaborate with emergency services when necessary.
5. **Client Education and Advocacy:**
- Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and community services.
6. **Collaboration and Teamwork:**
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic care.
- Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and professional development activities.
7. **Compliance and Ethical Standards:**
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Maryland state laws.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, state regulations, and funding requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- Current Maryland LCSW-C LCPC or CPRP licensure.
- Experience in mental health settings, particularly in outpatient care preferred.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
**Work Schedule:**
- This position is available as either part-time or full-time, requiring flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs. Evening or weekend hours may be necessary.
**Compensation:**
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for patients dealing with issues such as PTSD, addiction, and behavioral health challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in home and community settings.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EMR systems.
- Engage in case management activities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance service delivery.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed to support patients in acute distress.
- Stay informed about current trends in social work practices, medical terminology, and coding (ICD-9, ICD-10).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; current LCSW licensure required.
- Experience working with children and families; familiarity with pediatrics is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or geriatric populations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of addiction counseling principles and PTSD care strategies.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and familiarity with CPT coding.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through training in areas such as Christian counseling or special education is encouraged.
