Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral techniques and interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient assessments to identify specific needs related to behavioral health.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for tracking client progress.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in patient care.
Behavioral Analysts will be required to work in varied setting and under varied circumstances. Behavior Analyst must be able to adapt communication and training style to meet the need of the clients and related staff and must be able to problem-solve quickly, as needed. Behavior Analysts may work with individuals ranging in age from 2-18 years old. Each employee or Tri-Citied Behavioral Therapy must have reliable transportation.
