Social Worker - Adult Behavioral Health - Southgate, MI
Job type: Full time / Permanent
Shifts: Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM/ Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and develop person-centred treatment plans
• Provide individual and group therapy for adults with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, schools, and other service providers
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and case consultations
• Ensure compliance with licensure and funding requirements
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services
• Complete 24 hours of training in adult mental health/substance use treatment

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Michigan licensure (LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP, TLLP) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• QMHP credential within 120 days of hire
• Minimum 1 year experience (including internships) with mental illness treatment
• Strong communication, organizational, and cultural competency skills
• Ability to work independently and interpret varied instructions.
