Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing mental health challenges. The LCSW will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, crisis intervention, and addiction counseling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective case management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries.
- Engage in clinical research activities, including data collection and analysis related to patient outcomes.
- Provide home and community care services as needed, ensuring support for patients in their natural environments.
- Support families through child & family counseling sessions, addressing issues related to special education and developmental disabilities.
- Stay informed about current trends in social work practice, including advancements in psychopharmacology and behavioral therapy.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience working with children and families is preferred; familiarity with pediatrics is a plus.
- Background in crisis management, PTSD care, geriatric care, or Alzheimer’s care is advantageous.
- Proficiency with EMR systems for managing medical records and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems is beneficial.
- Experience in clinical research or data collection related to social work practices is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.26 - $55.00 per hour
