About this role:

The Kennedy-Donovan Center is seeking a temporary Case Manager/Social Worker for the Foster Care and Family Services Division to assess and support individual child, youth, and family needs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Time Period: October 2025- May 2026

In this role you'll get to:

  • Assess individual(s) and family strengths and needs.
  • Develop safe and helpful relationships with assigned individual(s).
  • Participate in all team meetings such as:
    • Development of Treatment Plans
    • Ongoing supports related to Treatment Plan objectives and goals.
    • Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
    • Foster Care Reviews
    • Individual and case reviews
  • Provide in-home case management services for families and children.
  • Advocate for children and their families as needed.
  • Provide supportive services to foster/biological families, as well as identified children/youth.
  • Collaborate with internal/external resources and community providers to ensure appropriate placement and services.
  • Monitor placements per DCF/EEC/Kennedy-Donovan Center regulations.
  • Comply with all Kennedy-Donovan Center, EEC and DCF documentation requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with all Kennedy-Donovan Center policies and procedures.
  • Transporting children/families as needed.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field (Psychology, Human Services) required.
  • LSW or LSWA licensure (within 6 months of hire).
  • Driver's License and a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer competence in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual Portuguese and/or Spanish speaking preferred.
