Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and social work, with the ability to provide crisis intervention and addiction counseling. This role requires a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families through effective support and guidance. The LCSW will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to address various social, emotional, and mental health challenges faced by clients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
  • Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes in clients.
  • Manage cases involving child welfare, ensuring compliance with Section 8 housing regulations when applicable.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on best practices in social work.
  • Collaborate with community resources for workforce development initiatives aimed at enhancing client employability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with Medicare guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proven experience in crisis management and behavioral health settings.
  • Strong knowledge of child welfare systems and related regulations.
  • Experience in supervising staff or interns is preferred.
  • Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
