About Job

** This is a long-term substitute position with an anticipated need from mid-November 2025 through mid-April 2026 **The role of the School Social Worker is to provide counseling and help to students, parents, and school staff to address the psychological, social and emotional development of students on IEPs, specifically students with disabilities. The School Social Worker will also work with outside support services or agencies to assist those students who may need additional support outside of school. This individual will work with students across the K-8 grade span, as determined by student need and the input of the School Psychologist. The Social Worker will work closely with students and families, as well as faculty and staff at BFCCPS.BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts.
