Position Overview

A respected private practice is urgently seeking a Certified School Psychologist to perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students, focusing on both educational and emotional needs.

About the Practice

This practice brings over 35 years of service to the community, known for its effective results, dedicated advocacy, and thorough follow-up support.

Position Details

· Part-time/per diem role with the possibility of transitioning to full-time in the future

· Initial schedule is two days per week, Monday through Thursday, with each day consisting of 8 hours; the office is closed on Fridays

· Compensation: $300 per day (open to possible negotiating)

· Additional details / benefits will be discussed during the interview process

Job Description and Goals

Applicants should demonstrate:

· A thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a School Psychologist

· Experience with administering, scoring, and interpreting various diagnostic assessments, including cognitive, achievement, adaptive, and social/emotional measures

· Ability to consult with teachers on occasion, observe classrooms when needed, and conduct follow-up phone calls

· Collaboration with Dr. King on report writing and feedback meetings to identify student strengths, weaknesses, possible diagnoses, and to develop tailored educational support plans

· Trustworthy and approachable personality

· Strong communication and listening skills
