Job seeker services include grants for job training programs, job search workshops, career counseling, a job search resource center, and more. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsibilities Include: Conducts interviews with participants related to eligibility, barriers to employment, individual job search goals and development of individual employment planDevelops individual goals with the participant related to employment, training, internships, job readiness and job search skillsLinks participants to other partner agencies and colleague as appropriate and works collectively toward self-sufficient employment for all individualsConducts on-going case management specific to the needs of each participantPrepares, tracks and maintains participant information in department database from the program entry to program exit and follow upProvides resource information regarding social services to participants and acts as an advocate when needed
