About Job
The Outpatient Therapist provides care to patients with a wide variety of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills to accurately assess patient needs and provide high-quality treatment. The Outpatient Therapist will also have the ability to handle a variety of situations that may arise in an outpatient setting, including group therapy, crisis management and crisis prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel individuals and families with mental and emotional illness and addiction problems.
- Work with individuals and families to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy.
- Communicate with other members of the treatment team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, psychiatrists, and other therapists.
- Provide prevention services to the community.
- Assess patient's mental health needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
