About Job

Advocating For Success is dedicated to helping adults living with mental health diagnoses build structure, resilience, and independence through goal-driven services that include Mobile Crisis Response, Community Stabilization, and Mental Health Skill-Building (MHSS). We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a passionate QMHP Supervisor to support our growing staff and guide the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and support to QMHPs and MHSS staff delivering crisis intervention, community stabilization, and skill-building services.
  • Ensure services meet DBHDS, Medicaid, and agency standards through oversight of documentation, service delivery, and care coordination.
  • Coach and mentor team members in best practices, crisis response, documentation, boundary setting, and trauma-informed engagement.
  • Review and co-sign service plans, progress notes, and crisis documentation as needed.
  • Facilitate regular team check-ins, audits, and staff development training.
  • Assist in program development, staff onboarding, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Step in as needed to support field-based client engagement or crisis management.
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs, service delivery models, and client outcomes.
  • Ensure clients are connected to therapy, medication management, peer support, and social/community resources.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or License-Eligible with supervision hours in progress
  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field
  • Meets Virginia standards as a QMHP
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing community-based mental health services
  • Supervisory or team leader experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes or community settings
