About Job
Purpose: The purpose of this position two-fold: to provide in-home behavioral therapy services through MCCMH and to provide in clinic mental health therapy services to the general population. A mix of remote work with some in the field work.
Position Summary:
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on a functional behavioral analysis of individuals diagnosed with autism, cognitive impairment, or other developmental disabilities
- Conduct behavioral training sessions with consumer's family, staff, and/or school
- Provide mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Maintain up-to-date records, including biopsychosocial intakes, behavior assessments and intervention plans, progress notes, and individualized quarterly and annual reviews
- Complete additional administrative duties related to job requirement
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree and valid Michigan Licensure in Psychology (TLLP, LLP), Counseling (LLPC or LPC), or Social Work (LLMSW, LMSW)
- Demonstrate excellent clinical skills
- Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions.
- Knowledge of Macomb County Community Mental Health Focus System
- Must have 1 year experience working with the CI and DD population

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
