About Job

Job Title: Peer Recovery Supporter (Certified, Male or Female)

Location: Columbus, OH

Organization: Hope 4 2morrow Counseling and Treatment Center

About Us

At Hope 4 2morrow, we believe that recovery is possible for everyone. We are expanding our services by launching a Peer Recovery Support Program that integrates lived experience into our treatment model. Our goal is to provide meaningful support, especially during evenings and weekends when clients need connection the most.

Position Overview

We are seeking two Certified Peer Recovery Supporters (PRS) — one male and one female — to join our team. These individuals will play a vital role in helping clients build recovery skills, stay engaged in treatment, and strengthen their support systems.

This is a client-facing role that involves transportation, one-on-one peer sessions, group recovery activities, and participation in recovery-based meetings (AA/NA, church, house meetings).

Schedule

  • Thursday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group peer recovery support.
  • Assist with transportation to and from recovery activities (AA, NA, church, meetings).
  • Facilitate or support structured recovery and social activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations staff to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • Certified Peer Recovery Supporter through OMHAS (Ohio).
  • Lived experience in recovery and willingness to share as appropriate.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working in behavioral health, recovery housing, or community-based programs.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, documentation standards, and trauma-informed care.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience).
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Supportive supervision and team environment.
  • Opportunity to make a lasting impact on individuals in recovery.

Program Goals

  • Enhance client recovery outcomes through lived-experience support.
  • Increase weekend service availability during high-risk times.
  • Improve client engagement with flexible, personalized peer-led interventions.

How to Apply:
