Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, providing direct care, and assisting in therapeutic interventions. This position is essential for promoting the well-being of our patients and helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to patients in office setting and virtually
• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by mental health professionals.
• Conduct patient assessments and participate in intake processes.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Document patient care activities, maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Support patients with behavioral management strategies and assist with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with women experiencing anxiety and depression mental health challenges is preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Understanding of behavioral health principles and practices, including crisis intervention techniques.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while demonstrating empathy and patience towards clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
