Job Description
The Graduate School of Counseling in the Oral Roberts University College of Theology and Ministry invites applications for a full-time, promotional-track faculty position. We seek candidates who can integrate the Christian faith, from a Spirit-Empowered perspective, with the counseling profession and incorporate teaching, administration, and research.
The position requires occasional all-day, seminar-style teaching and some afternoon/evening teaching. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching courses in traditional residential, virtual, hybrid, and combination formats.
Requirements
- Candidate must have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited program, and hold state licensure as a professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or alcohol/drug/mental health counselor.
- Previous experience teaching in a counselor education program, functioning as a mental health clinician, administrative experience, and credentialing as a board-approved supervisor is desired.
