Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Make a Meaningful Impact in Education!

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students and staff across the William Penn School District.

There are 2 options to join as the school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst / BCBA:

  • 1099 independent contractor, 37.5 hours/week, 190-day schedule aligned with the 10-month academic calendar at $75-$79 per hour based on years of experience as a BCBA.
  • 12 month full-time employee salary of $89,000 - $100,000 based on years of experience as a BCBA.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and oversee data-driven PCA fading plans to promote student independence.
  • Partner with the onsite staffing coordinator to optimize student supports through shared support models and classroom strategy training.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and generate comprehensive, actionable reports.
  • Develop and refine positive behavior support plans using research-based interventions.
  • Identify instructional needs and create targeted programming for student growth.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust programming to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build tools and systems to collect and analyze behavioral data effectively.
  • Train and support staff on program implementation and ensure fidelity in practice.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – to collaborate and lead with clarity.
  • Expertise in behavioral assessments, data analysis, and behavior intervention planning.
  • Team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a collaborative school-based environment.
  • Experience working with students who have autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field
  • Active BCBA certification
  • Professional experience working as a BCBA post-certification

Credentials:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Current Certificate
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
  • Professional Liability Insurance ($1-3 million minimum coverage)

(Clearances current within 12 months)

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI Use code: 1KG6XN
  • TB screening - current within 3 months

Benefits

As an independent contract (1099); No benefits are associated with for 1099.

As a 12 month full-time employee, benefits are as follows:
