Psychologist (Full-time, or Part-time)

Overview:

Deliver therapeutic services, perform behavior assessments and testing, implement interventions, develop skills curricula, and provide education to individuals and their families/caregivers who have developmental, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a behavior analytic program. Aim to enhance the quality of life for patients, caregivers, and families.

Offer leadership and coaching to team members on implementing behavioral analytic interventions during assessments and treatments. Act as a psychologist and senior behavior analyst on interdisciplinary teams and for other behavioral team staff. Collaborate with families to train caregivers, teachers, and other staff on interventions, while closely monitoring the effectiveness and implementation of behavioral treatments in various settings. Work with leadership on quality improvement, program development, and special projects.

The main aspects of this role are detailed below but are subject to changes as deemed necessary by the clinical program team and department management. This job description outlines essential job functions but is not an exhaustive list of all duties.

Required Education/Experience:

  • PhD or PsyD in psychology with a focus on therapeutic psychology from an APA-accredited program or a similar relevant specialization (e.g., school psychology with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis).
  • Completion of an APA-approved internship.
  • Formal post-doctoral training in a relevant area of specialization.

Required Credentials:

  • Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Utah.
  • Must obtain and maintain in good standing, prior to the start of employment, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are unrestricted, not revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary (except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment). All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Experience in providing trauma-informed care.
  • Post-doctoral level experience in pediatric psychology.
  • Experience with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral issues and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses.
  • Experience with evidence-based practices.
  • Experience in providing comprehensive assessment and treatment across various settings such as ambulatory, intensive outpatient, day treatment, and inpatient.
  • Certification by a National Credentialing Board for Behavior Analysts (e.g., BACB).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
