- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor medications, offer crisis intervention, and manage psychiatric emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and participate in case conferences.
- Educate patients and families about mental health, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and stay current with psychiatric practices.
- Provide supervision to healthcare staff as needed.
- Qualifications include MD/DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years of clinical experience, active NY license, and board certification preferred. Skills in patient-centered care, teamwork, and cultural competence are essential. Bilingual skills are a plus.
