Seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide mental health evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions at an underserved community health center in New York.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor medications, offer crisis intervention, and manage psychiatric emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document patient interactions accurately.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.
- Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide supervision to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Qualifications include MD or DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years of clinical experience, valid NY license, and board certification or eligibility.
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence are essential, with bilingual skills preferred.
