- Seeking a compassionate Part-Time Psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions in an underserved community setting.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and participate in case conferences.
- Provide education to patients and families, manage psychiatric emergencies, and document interactions accurately.
- Maintain current licensure, pursue ongoing professional development, and supervise other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Requires MD or DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years clinical experience, active NY license, and board certification or eligibility.
- Skills include strong communication, cultural competence, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills preferred.
