Seeking a part-time psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions for underserved populations in a community health setting.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor medication therapy.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health and treatment options.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, documentation, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and stay current with psychiatric best practices.
- Provide supervision to healthcare staff as needed.
- Qualifications include MD or DO with Psychiatry focus, 3-5 years of experience, NY State license, and Board Certification preferred.
- Strong communication, cultural competence, and ability to work in fast-paced environments required.
