Seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide mental health assessments, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for underserved populations at a community health center in New York City.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor medication and provide ongoing psychiatric care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care.
- Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to legal requirements.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to quality improvement.
- Supervise healthcare professionals as needed.
- Qualifications include MD/DO with Psychiatry focus, 3-5 years of clinical experience, active NY license, and board certification preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnosing psychiatric conditions, strong communication skills, and cultural competence are essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
