Seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide mental health evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions at a community health center in the Bronx.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor ongoing medication use and adjust plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide crisis intervention when needed and ensure accurate documentation.
- Supervise healthcare staff as required.
- Qualifications include MD/DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years of clinical experience, NY State medical license, and board certification or eligibility.
- Proficiency in diagnosing/treating psychiatric conditions, strong communication skills, and cultural competence are essential.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
