About Job
- Seeking a part-time psychiatrist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions in an underserved community setting.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, monitor medication, and provide crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients and families on mental health management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in case conferences and quality improvement efforts.
- Require MD or DO with Psychiatry focus, 3-5 years of experience, NY license, board certification or eligibility, and BLS certification.
- Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential; bilingual skills preferred.
