We are seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to join a community-focused healthcare team in Shirley, Long Island.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans including medication management.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric care, monitor medications, and adjust treatments as needed.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care.
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Document patient interactions accurately, manage psychiatric emergencies, and offer crisis intervention.
• Engage in professional development and supervise healthcare staff as required.
• Qualifications include MD or DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years of clinical experience, valid NY license, and board certification or eligibility.
• Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
