Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (DOE) + Full Benefits + Professional Development Support
Schedule: Flexible M–F Hybrid | Regional Travel to EMPOWER Locations:
- New Bern
- Elizabeth City
- Ahoskie
- Greenville
- Morehead City
- Wilmington
You’ll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments & develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
- Train and mentor staff, DSPs, and supervisors in ABA best practices.
- Collaborate across service lines (EMPOWER, ICS, ABA) to maximize outcomes.
- Deliver in-service training & represent ESPH at professional conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC.
- Experience:

- At least 3 years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred).
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Experience delivering behavior-focused training to staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities.
- Must meet qualifications as required by funding sources.
- Current valid driver’s license with unrestricted driving privileges and proof of vehicle insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, participants, and families in various settings, including homes, community environments, and offices.
