An opportunity is available for an on-call School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within an early childhood and K-7th grade setting in Cary, NC. This contract position offers part-time hours, approximately 16 hours per week, serving a large and diverse student population.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with teachers and families, and supporting students social-emotional and academic development. The caseload includes approximately 2,000 students split between two schools, including 30 early childhood students. This role requires providing timely and individualized support to ensure student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Psychologist Board License
- Experience working with early childhood through 7th grade student populations
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
