A school social worker position is available in Lake George, CO, serving a K-12 school environment. This role offers flexibility with both full-time (36 hours/week, Monday through Friday) and part-time (16-20 hours/week, 2 days per week) options. The position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of students from PreK through 12th grade, with specific attention to supporting four students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) requiring scheduled minutes. Additional student interactions will be responsive to emerging needs throughout the school year. The social worker will collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to facilitate student well-being and promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications and desired experience for this role:

  • Licensed or certified as a social worker, preferably with school social work experience
  • Experience working with K-12 students in academic or counseling settings
  • Ability to manage IEP-related service delivery effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school personnel
  • Capability to work independently and prioritize caseload demands
