Position Overview:A school-based psychologist is sought to support elementary school students in Ramona, CA. This contract role involves delivering comprehensive psychological services that promote student success, strengthen social-emotional skills, and provide assessment and counseling support in an elementary school setting. The position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week across 5 days, during the current school year (CSY).

Location:Ramona, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school culture initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services credential (PPS) in School Psychology
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
