ProCare Therapy is currently recruiting an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time travel assignment in Vallejo, California, for the 20252026 school year. Position Overview
You will provide school-based psychological services in this full-time role, partnering with educators and families to help students overcome academic and behavioral challenges. The assignment runs from August 2025 through June 2026 and includes a full school-year contract.

  • Workweek: 3540 hours, Monday through Friday

  • Weekly Pay: $2,500$2,700 (based on experience and certification)

  • Caseload: Students in grades K12 with a range of academic and social-emotional needs

  • Benefits: Housing stipends, relocation support, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and emotional evaluations

  • Write detailed reports and present findings to IEP teams

  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans

  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and positive behavior supports

Candidate Requirements

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential or eligibility to obtain

  • Minimum of one year of school-based experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency for diverse student populations

  • Willingness to relocate and commit to a 10-month contract
