Position Overview:
East Liverpool City Schools is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Psychologist to join our student support team for the 20252026 school year, beginning August 18, 2025. This is a full-time, on-site role primarily focused on reevaluations for students in grades 711. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment while supporting student achievement through high-quality psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational reevaluations for students in grades 711, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
Interpret assessment data and provide comprehensive written reports aligned with district, state, and federal guidelines
Participate in Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a contributing member
Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, counselors, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavioral goals
Provide consultation to school staff regarding appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
Ensure all reevaluations are completed within required timelines and in compliance with IDEA and Ohio Department of Education standards
Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) as appropriate
Caseload Details:
Primary focus on reevaluations (revals)
Student population: Grades 711
Typical weekly workload: 3540 hours
Caseload may vary based on student needs and district timelines
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist License issued by the Ohio Department of Education
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Prior experience with reevaluations and middle/high school populations preferred
Strong understanding of special education law, evaluation procedures, and data-based decision-making
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication, time management, and report writing skills
Must be available to work on-site during school hours
