School Psychologist Early Childhood Education

Location: Kent, WA
Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite Only
Contract Dates: August 18, 2025 June 30, 2026
Work Hours: 38.5 hours per week

About the Role

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed and passionate School Psychologist to support an Early Childhood Center in Kent, Washington, for the 20252026 academic year. This full-time, onsite opportunity focuses on providing psychological services for children from birth through five years of age. The ideal candidate will bring experience in evaluations, developmental assessments, and early intervention collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and developmental assessments for young learners (birth5)

  • Support special education eligibility processes through evaluations and testing

  • Collaborate with families, early intervention teams, and educators

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP planning

  • Provide overflow support for infants and toddlers as needed

Caseload Overview

  • Up to 50 students, primarily ages 35

  • Overflow coverage for birth3 years

  • Located within an early childhood education setting

  • Onsite services only no virtual options

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification

  • Washington state licensure in School Psychology

  • OSPI fingerprint clearance

  • Previous experience in school or early childhood settings preferred

  • Strong understanding of early development and assessment tools
