Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to contribute expertise and support within a high school setting in Junction City, OR. This contract position spans the entire school year, offering a meaningful chance to make a difference in students academic and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health
- Assist in the development of school-wide programs to promote positive behavioral support and academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal educational regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure recognized in Oregon
- Experience working in a high school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and special education law
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Location: Junction City, Oregon high school contract for the full school year
