This contract position requires dedication to providing essential social services within an educational environment, primarily focusing on middle and high school students, with occasional involvement in an elementary school nearby. The role is onsite and offers an immediate start, with flexible interview scheduling available this and next week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social work services to K-12 students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to develop and implement individualized support plans
• Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and facilitate group interventions focused on student well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and relevant regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success and safety

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) with licensure or eligibility for licensure in school social work
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across middle and high school levels
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage students, families, and faculty
• Ability to advocate for students and provide crisis intervention when needed
• Commitment to onsite work during scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week
