Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and group counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans and support strategies
- Conducting assessments and connecting students and families with community resources
- Supporting crisis intervention and promoting a safe, inclusive school environment
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining accurate case documentation
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school or community settings
- Strong understanding of K-12 social-emotional development and relevant interventions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
