About Job

**Part-time Residential Aide - We are looking for a few candidates that can work 3 days a week from 3pm to 8pm or 8pm to 8am every.** Must be at Least 21 years old. Must Hold a Valid Drivers License. Must have a high school diploma or GED.

****** First Two Weeks is a Mandatory Training Monday - Friday from 9am- 4pm.*******

Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times

Requirements:
- Experience in meal preparation and serving
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them
- Ability to provide direct support to residents with compassion and empathy
- Physical ability to lift and assist residents as needed
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred

You are also responsible for maintaining accurate knowledge of residential procedures, shift responsibilities, operation manual, individual service recipients' characteristics, and Department Policies and Procedures.******
