A growing outpatient mental health clinic in Somerville is looking for an experienced Lead Clinical Supervisor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an LICSW or LMHC in Massachusetts who’s ready to take on a leadership role without sacrificing clinical connection.

In this position, you’ll balance a reduced caseload with meaningful supervisory and administrative work — supporting the clinic, mentoring clinicians, and contributing to the development of future leaders. This is an ideal role for someone interested in eventually stepping into a Clinic Director or operational leadership position.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain approximately 8–10 clinical hours and 8–10 supervision hours per week
• Review and approve documentation (treatment plans, progress notes)
• Support onboarding, training, and scheduling for clinical staff
• Assist with managing the waitlist, assigning caseloads, and scheduling office space
• Sit in on interviews and help lead team meetings
• Provide backup support for clinic operations
• Support compliance and promote a positive team culture

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree or higher in a mental health field
• Independent clinical license in MA (LICSW or LMHC required)
• Eligible to provide licensure supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Leadership mindset with a desire to mentor others
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health (preferred)
