Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated licensed professional counselor (LPC) to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This role is perfect for someone who values a whole-person approach to care and enjoys collaborating with other wellness professionals in a supportive, family-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions in a supportive environment
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team of therapists and wellness professionals.
- Educate clients on coping strategies, self-care, and holistic mental wellness techniques
- Contribute to the warm and welcoming atmosphere by fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
- Current state licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC)
- Experience working with diverse populations and various mental health conditions
- Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for a holistic approach to mental health and wellness
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
