Job Summary

Khalsa Montessori School is seeking a dedicated, reliable, Extended Care Coordinator who will supervise the Extended Care(after school) program. Candidates must have experience working with young children and share our commitment to holistic education. The hours are 11:00am - 6pm, Monday-Friday. This position begins August 4, 2025.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and communication skills
• Clear boundaries
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Physically healthy and free of chemical addictions (non-smoking)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Negative TB Test within 12 months before joining work
• A minimum 2 years experience with Primary Aged Children (3-5/6yrs)

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring a fun, safe, and supportive environment for the after school & vacation program
• Plan and supervise student activities
• Supervise the Extended Care staff and oversee the entire program
• Supervise children during nap, snack time, and on the playground
• Work with the Classroom teachers and communicate about student behavior
• Be in regular communication with the Site Coordinator
• Participate in Staff Meetings
• Communicate with Parents as needed
