POSITION: Staff Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
SCHEDULE: Part Time or Per Diem
FACILITY: NHDOC facilities, Concord campus
LOCATION: Concord, NH (onsite)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for providing consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment to inmates at their assigned correctional facility. Responsible for the delivery of contracted services, personnel, and coordination of psychiatric/behavioral health services and programs. Serves as the behavioral health liaison between Wexford Health and the correctional system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
LICENSING:
  • Current New Hampshire Medical license required (at time of start date) *willing to help with NH licensure application
  • Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance license and New Hampshire DEA required (at time of start date)

CERTIFICATION: Current CPR certification required, hands on (at time of start date)
EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred
EDUCATION: Medical Degree with psychiatry residency required.
