Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)

Pay Rate: BT: $23-$26/hr

Location: Various Schools in and around Oceanside

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BT) to join our team. The BT will work in school settings, either in a 1:1 assignment with a student or within a classroom environment. The ideal candidates will receive training CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and supervision from our internal Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Behavior Technician Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification (training provided)
Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Behavior Technician Key Responsibilities:

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.
Provide direct 1:1 or classroom-based support to students.
Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Utilize CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
