About Job

Behavior Technician (Experienced) | Virginia Beach, VA
Advance Your ABA Career – Make an Impact Every Day

We’re seeking a skilled Behavior Technician with prior ABA, special education, or pediatric therapy experience to join our dedicated Durham team. In this role, you’ll work directly with children diagnosed with autism, implementing individualized treatment plans that foster measurable growth in communication, social skills, and daily living abilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, one-on-one therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in a clinic-based setting
  • Implement treatment goals developed by a BCBA, ensuring fidelity to each child’s individualized plan
  • Track, record, and report detailed session data to measure progress and inform clinical adjustments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing professional insight and feedback
  • Maintain a positive, engaging environment that supports each child’s unique learning style

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and credentials
  • Consistent weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, no evenings or weekends)
  • Opportunities for advanced training and professional certification
  • Clear pathways for career progression into Lead Technician or BCBA roles

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience working as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, RBT, or in a similar role supporting children with autism or developmental differences
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred; must be willing to maintain certification if hired without one
  • Strong data collection and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

If you’re ready to bring your ABA skills to a team that values clinical excellence and professional growth, we’d love to hear from you.
