Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Veterinary Behavior Assistant/Client Care Coordinator. This role is vital in ensuring clients feel supported and understood throughout their journey with us—from initial contact to follow-up care. This role is ideal for someone who is patient and empathetic and thrives in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person
• Schedule and manage appointments, including new client intakes and follow-ups
• Provide clear communication and education about our services, processes, and behavior plans
• Communicating on behalf of our veterinarians with clients, other professionals, and team members via phone, email, and other applications.
• Maintain accurate client records in our veterinary software system
• Assist with behavioral consultations and therapy sessions
• Filling medications in-house and/or calling prescriptions into outside pharmacies
• Support billing and payment processes as needed
• Foster a compassionate and calming environment for both clients and their pets

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Comfort with emotionally sensitive topics and client concerns
• Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or behavioral health setting preferred
• Proficiency in veterinary software or basic computer skills
• A genuine love for animals and interest in animal behavior is a plus
