Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Case Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing mental health support and counseling services, with a focus on crisis intervention and behavioral health. This role requires a commitment to helping individuals and families navigate challenges related to mental health, addiction, and social welfare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and management services to clients in distress.
• Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
• Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior social workers or interns, providing guidance on best practices in social work.
• Engage in workforce development initiatives aimed at improving client employability and life skills.
• Advocate for clients within the child welfare system, including navigating Section 8 housing assistance programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with Medicare regulations.

Skills

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficient in addiction counseling techniques and understanding of behavioral health issues.
• Experience in crisis management, demonstrating effective problem-solving abilities.
• Solid foundation in social work principles, ethics, and practices.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement.
• Supervising experience is preferred, with a focus on developing the skills of others.
• Knowledge of childcare practices and child welfare policies is advantageous.
• Ability to navigate Section 8 housing processes and advocate for client needs effectively.
• Experience working with Medicare systems and understanding relevant regulations is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
