Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for clients.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members.
- Regularly review client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and provide resources for additional support.
Experience
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques, behavioral health practices, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
